Certainly a diversion in design, this unique horizontal model has been very popular over the years with Schools, Colleges as it can produce small posters and flyers. Originally thought to have been used behind enemy lines in the second world war to produce propaganda.
The concept and design goes back to the 1920’s, which was a part wood and part steel construction, although the all metal model with rotating ink disc was launched c.1950 with a chase size of 10” x 8” and has been most sort after until the present day.
The machine can be used with automatic inking facility or the roller arms can be lifted away to allow the forme or blocks to be hand inked to produce a multicolour print.
