Introducing our NEW Blue Letterpress Mounting Base for 1.65mm and 0.95mm Photopolymer Plates.

This Precision Ground Blue Aluminium Mounting Base is cleverly designed so that it can be used with either a 1.65mm or a 0.95mm Photopolymer Plate. Plates are adhered to the front surface as normal with Adana Scapa Double Sided Adhesive but when using a thinner 0.95mm plate the user simply inserts the four adjustment studs into the holes on the back of the base. This raises the base to the exact height needed for the thinner plate.

Once your plate is in the correct place using the positioning grid, the Blue Base is quick to use, as having the same outside dimensions as a standard 8 x 5 chase and being fitted with locating lugs, it can be slotted straight into the press thus saving time, a chase and 4 quoins .... it also has the benefit of a much larger printable area than the Red Mounting Base.

If required the lugs can be removed to allow it to be locked up in a larger machine.
